Account information: if you create an account we collect your name, email address, and a password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only in a securely hashed form — we never see or store your plain-text password.

Content you create: prayers you add to the Prayer Wall, your favorite verse, and similar personal content you choose to save.

Child profiles: if you (as a parent or guardian) create a profile for your child in the Parent Zone, we collect only the first name and optional age you enter. We do not collect a child’s contact information.

DISC Growth Profile: if you complete the adult or youth DISC survey the App collects your answers, the name you enter, and the email address you provide to receive your results. Survey answers are used only to generate your results and are not stored on our servers after the report is delivered.

Prayer & contact requests: if you submit a prayer request, contact message, or urgent “Need Prayer Now” request we receive the name, contact information, and message you provide.

Donations: donations are processed entirely by our third-party donation provider, Givebutter. We do not collect or store your payment-card information.

Basic device and app information needed to operate the App (such as app version and device type) may be processed to deliver features like notifications.

If you opt in to reminders or alerts we store a notification token so we can send the notifications you requested. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings or in the App.

We do not use cookies, analytics tracking, or behavioral advertising in the App.

To provide and maintain the App, including syncing your account and prayers across your devices.

To deliver your DISC Growth Profile results to the email address you provide.

To send reminders, encouragement, and alerts you have opted in to.

To forward your prayer and contact messages to our ministry team so we can respond.

To send an urgent-prayer alert (via email and/or text message) to our ministry staff when you submit a “Need Prayer Now” request.

To protect the security and integrity of the App.

Account and prayer data are stored with our backend provider, Supabase, and are protected by row-level security so that only you can access your own data through your account.

Some content (such as prayers) may also be cached on your device so the App works offline.

We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100 % secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate the App. Each processes information under its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — account authentication and database storage.

• Expo (EAS) — app delivery, over-the-air updates, and push notifications.

• Cloudflare Workers — server-side API processing for videos, podcasts, email delivery, and prayer alerts.

• SendGrid (Twilio) — transactional email delivery (DISC results, prayer notifications). Emails are sent from prayer@dispatchtodiscipleship.net and info@dispatchtodiscipleship.net.

• Twilio — SMS delivery for urgent prayer alerts to our ministry staff phone (we do not text end-users).

• YouTube — embedded video content.

• Givebutter — donation processing.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

The App includes a “Kid Mode” with faith content designed for children under 13. We take children’s privacy seriously and comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Kid Mode is gated by a parental gate — a parent or guardian must confirm they are a grown-up before a child can use it. By passing the parental gate you represent that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian.

Children do not create their own accounts. Any account is created and managed by a parent or guardian. When a parent signs up we email them to confirm the account, which helps us confirm that a grown-up set it up.

Features that would collect personal information (such as the youth “How God Wired You” growth profile) stay locked until a signed-in parent turns on parental permission in the Parent Zone. A parent can revoke that permission at any time.

Child profiles: in the Parent Zone a parent may create a profile for each child. We store only a first name and an optional age that the parent provides — we do not collect a child’s email, phone number, photo, or precise location. Child profiles are private to the parent’s account and the parent can delete them at any time.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Kid Mode content (devotionals, videos, quizzes, Bible reading) operates without collecting personal information from the child.

The youth DISC survey (“How God Wired You”) collects the parent’s name and email address — not the child’s — and requires the parent’s permission first. The results report is delivered to the parent.

Kid Mode does not display advertising of any kind.

If you believe a child has provided us personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately at dustin@dispatchtodiscipleship.net and we will delete it promptly.

Parents may review any data associated with their child, request its deletion, or revoke consent at any time by contacting us.

The App does not display targeted or behavioral advertising. We do not share data with ad networks. There are no ads in Kid Mode or Adult Mode.

Access and correction: you can view and edit your account information at any time in the Profile screen.

Deletion: you can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete account. You may also email us at dustin@dispatchtodiscipleship.net to request deletion.

Notifications: you can turn notifications on or off in the App and in your device settings.

Data portability: you may request a copy of your data by emailing us.

If you are a California resident you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to delete it. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Residents of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas) may also have similar rights. To exercise them, contact us at dustin@dispatchtodiscipleship.net.

We retain your account and prayer data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, prayers, and associated data are permanently removed.

Prayer requests and contact messages sent to our team (email/SMS) may be retained in our email and messaging systems to provide continuity of pastoral care, but are not stored in the App after submission.

Donation records are maintained by our donation provider (Givebutter) in accordance with their policies and applicable tax/charity law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the “Effective” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
